Grape Juice Instead of Wine in Raw Marinara Sauce


Hi Chef Teton,
I love your dvd’s , and spoke to you when you were on a local talk show once.
In some of your recipes that call for using wine, can I use apple or grape juice instead or something else?

Dear charlotte,  I do not use wine in any of my raw food recipes, except the marinara sauce. I would recommend leaving the wine out of the Raw Food Marinara Recipe. Grape juice would be way to sweet. I have made it plenty of times without the wine and it is delicious!
