forgive me this may be a bit long winded before i get to my question.
I heard you this morning on a local (santa monica) radio program and really liked what you had to say. I searched for your ‘essentail foods’ dvd’s and came across your website. I have only purchased the ‘a la oils’ eBook so far (as a start) but plan on also ordering the dvd set. forgive me if this is talked about in either program which i have just begun to read…
I have consumed an average american diet i would say the past 15-20 years leaning a bit towards healthier choices…not a great diet but not terrible either. as a 40 year old though you could say i can now sense my mortality. time does not seem as infinite as it did when i was younger. as such it has made me more aware of leading an even healthier lifestyle in the second half of my life. i excercise regularly but realize my overall diet is now my bottleneck to exceptional health.
I’m gratefull i have found your website and all the great information to help me reach my goals but there will certainly be some hard choices i assume to getting there. i can think of a few off the top of my head but one that sits near the top is my love for coffee. good, rich strong coffee.
i have come to realize that coffee, as much as i love it does not do good things to my body. it severely dries out my skin for one, dehydrates tissue and the effects of being over stimulated are obvious.
it should seem obvious that i need to moderate my intake, and i do, but i’m curious to know your thoughts about it? do you consider it something that is so detrimental to the goals of eating well and great health that it should be avoided entirely?
